Our first facial toner does what a toner is supposed to do – it provides the skin with an optimal pH. We've enriched it with acids but please don't be afraid of a strong acid treatment, it's not what's to be found here :) There are acids in the toner, indeed. But their concentration is 3.5% and they have been chosen in such a way so that they do not wreak havoc on the face, but treat it with due gentleness. There's gluconolactone, maltobionic acid (PHA), and lactic acid (AHA), ensuring that the skin's pH returns to its optimal pH level. With the support of niacinamide and the rest of the ingredients, the toner soothes and calms the skin, promoting its regeneration. It also reduces the appearance of pores and imperfections and unifies skin tone, restoring a healthy glow.
There are quite a few humectants in the Sugar toner - in addition to the aforementioned acids, you will also find a sizable amount of the sugars themselves - they will help in maintaining the skin's hydration level.
Let's not underestimate propanediol as well - as the one promoting the penetration process, it makes it easier for the toner's ingredients to act at deeper levels of the skin. Medium-molecular hyaluronate promotes skin regeneration and creates a delicate film on the skin's surface, limiting the escape of much-needed hydration. But there's more! Then there are the beloved ferments and extracts, positively influencing the skin microbiome. They provide an extra booster in the form of a substantial dose of hydration and support in regeneration. All these ingredients complement each other so beautifully that we can't get out of admiration, and sure, we're being very immodest here.
This (multi)sugar toner, with its fantastically pleasant consistency, is something we can no longer imagine our daily care without. We're proud of the results it got in the instrumental study, and we're going to brag about them: an increase in skin hydration levels by almost 10%, an increase in skin firmness and elasticity, and a reduced appearance of pores by an average of 30%. Not too shabby, is it?

The pH value of our toner is in the range of 3.1-3.6 and the acids contained in the toner act quickly so that in just a few minutes the pH of the skin is restored to the optimal level. This is when you can move on to the next stages of care without worrying that the acids will interfere with the active ingredients used in creams or face serums.

Here are the results of the instrumental study**:
- regular use of the Sugar toner reduces the appearance of pores (large pores by 27%, small pores by almost 34%) after just 4 weeks,
- regular use of the Sugar toner increases skin hydration levels by 9.7%,
- after 4 weeks of using the toner, the skin becomes smoother (by, on average, 8.5%),
- the toner reduces melanin secretion by 7.3%,
- regular use of the Sugar toner increases skin firmness and elasticity by 7%,
- provides skin with an optimal pH.

Apply the toner to a cotton pad and gently wipe the skin with it. Use in the morning and evening. Avoid the area directly around the eyes.
As a complementary treatment after toning your face, you can apply a serum from the Sugar series or another favorite serum or cream - wait a few minutes before applying them so as not to neutralize the active ingredients contained in them.
