In this Sugar mask, we've enclosed sugars – so, no surprises here ;), but also propanediol, sugarcane squalane, and a bunch of other goodies. However, let's take a closer look at the main character of this story, namely, succinic acid. It acts as an exfoliant, reduces the formation of blackheads and imperfections, minimizes the appearance of pores, and significantly reduces sebum secretion. This makes it an ideal ingredient for cosmetics designed for oily, acne-prone skin – exactly what we needed while developing another product to complement our Sugar series. We also added gluconolactone, which hydrates, evens out skin tone, smooths, and provides both anti-wrinkle and anti-acne benefits—perfectly complementing the effects of succinic acid. Other noteworthy ingredients include gentle, moisturizing, and exfoliating maltobionic acid, soothing and smoothing allantoin, niacinamide (vitamin B3), phytosterols, trehalose, and ceramide NS, which supports the restoration of the skin barrier. This powerful blend of active ingredients is enhanced by prebiotic inulin, hydrolyzed cottonseed extract, oligosaccharides, Japanese upcycled rice seed extract, and Wasanbon sugar molasses. Last but not least, it includes a complex of amino acids, sodium lactate, and PCA, all of which are key components of the Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF). In short, this blend of ingredients is designed to provide deep hydration for the skin.
Together, these ingredients create a cosmetic that can benefit both dry and oily skin types struggling with imperfections. It also caters to those needing a solid dose of hydration, nourishment, smoothing, and softening, as well as those seeking relief in the battle against imperfections and signs of aging. Apply to cleansed skin on the face, neck, and décolleté. Leave on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. You can apply it directly to spots, using it as a targeted spot treatment. You can also leave on a thin layer of the mask overnight, in place of your regular face cream. Use 2-3 times per week.
Due to the presence of acids and the mask's high performance, please exercise caution when using it for the first time: apply a small amount to a test area, such as behind the ear, and monitor your skin's reaction. If you experience a burning sensation, rinse off the product immediately.
Note: For sensitive skin, we recommend applying a thinner layer, using the mask less frequently (e.g., once a week), and rinsing it off approximately 10 minutes after application. Any mild redness should subside within a few minutes after rinsing.
